I live outside Adelaide and Melbourne. Can I still join?

We are currently focusing on setting up Gaia's Genesis in Adelaide and Melbourne. Sydneysiders will have an opportunity to join the pool once the finances in Adelaide are able to support the set-up in Sydney. If you live outside Adelaide and Melbourne, there is still an opportunity to join as a scriptwriter, music composer, graphic designer or web developer.

Occassionally, we do allow other interstate actors and crew members to join. However, we must stress that, due to financial constraints, you will need to provide your own travel and accomodation when auditioning and filming in Adelaide and Melbourne. Please select your homestate in the registration form.

How do I take part in certain projects on offer?

You can become part of Gaia's Genesis by applying to join our membership. You will then be given access to our newsletters which will announce positions available which are specific to South Australian and Victorian productions.

How often are newsletters sent out?

Will I get paid for my services?

The projects offered by Crafty Lion Media in feature films will generally be a deferment in payment as we are still trying to establish ourselves within the South Australian and Victorian Film Industries. Most student films will be unpaid unless otherwise specified.

As a member of Gaia's Genesis, will I be bound only to working on productions within Crafty Lion Media?

No. All members of this site are free agents. If you find an interesting role outside Crafty Lion Media, by all means apply for it. Gaia's Genesis merely serves as a talent pool for those interested in productions within Crafty Lion Media and those affiliated with it.

I'm interested in being part of the Genesis Team. How do I apply?

Being in the Genesis Team requires administrative duties needed to assist in the smooth running of Gaia's Genesis as a whole.

One criteria of being a member is that you need to have the experience that will go with the role you are applying for. If you think you have sufficient administrative experience, contact the founder to express your interest. She will ask for your CV which will then be assessed by the other members of the Genesis Team.

If you are about to register into the site and would like to apply, you will need to fill in the appropiate fields in the registration form. If the Genesis Team decides you are not suitable for the role, your occupation will be listed as a Production Advisor in which you can act as an advisor on set.

Be mindful, however, that positions within the Genesis Team are limited.
