**We now cater for Melbourne residents [as of 23rd November 2008]!** Gaia's Genesis acts as a talent pool for actors, film crew, musicians, animators and graphic designers wanting to get into the film and television industry. Catering mainly for those residing in Adelaide and Melbourne, we do allow interstate and overseas members but they will need provide their own travel and accommodation for projects filmed in South Australia and Victoria due to financial constraints. We are also currently looking to form our own production company with the assistance of those within the talent pool, focusing mainly on projects with a multicultural theme. Projects in the pipeline can be found here. We now have over 100 actors and 40 production crew in our membership. If you would like cast and crew to help bring your project to life, please don't hesitate to contact us and we'll do what we can do help you. We also cater for film students in Adelaide and Melbourne! Students will have exclusive access to the cast request application form for their tertiary projects. They may also request crew for more advanced projects. Please refer to the Membership FAQ for more information. Who else do you cater for?

Did you have a project you wanted to advertise for more roles - whether it be for cast or crew? Our affiliation program allows struggling production houses to do just that. With over 100 actors and 40 crew members, we are prepared to offer you a range of talents needed for your project. All you have to do is join our free membership and contact the webmaster with the name of your production house and she will forward any production roles to the talent pool, asking them to contact you. Did you have a production company/group website or an online CV you wanted to share with everyone? A new feature has been added to the site known as the Genesis Directory which acts in the same way as a yellow pages site. You'll need to log into the site in order to add your site to it. |

How many people have you worked with in the Genesis Pool? As you may or may not be aware, we actually have a feature on the site known as Connections which works in a very similar way to a myspace or facebook friends request. So, how do you connect to other members of the Genesis Pool? All you have to do is log into the site and click on the Members List. From there, you can choose the person you have worked with and bring up their profile where you'll see a Connections button on top of their profile. Select Request Connection and wait for approval! Be warned though that you can only request one connection at a time so if you are well-networked, it might take a while to work through all your connections! N.B: You need to be a member of the site to use this feature. |

As the university semester draws to a close, Gaia's Genesis is looking to becoming a professional production company. Having said that, we are looking for someone with experience in accountancy to help us deal with the bookkeeping of financial issues associated with running a production company.
