A high ranking police detective with the Major Crime Squad, Renee Johnson is an ambitious workaholic who prefers to make decisions based on facts rahter than theory. She is firm yet fair but her traditional values have started to push wilful daughter Leah away. Her relationship with younger sister Sophie isn't the best and her father Harry doesn't seem to recognise her very often in his state of dementia. If she isn't careful, she could lose all of them completely.
