If there was one way of describing Kai Long, it is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He can charm the scales of a snake but is rotten to the core. Kai is a real charmer and has a talent for talking his way out of just about any situation. Like all military types, his top priority is looking after number one. Unlike most of them however, he'll do just about anything to get what he wants.

Kai never used to be this rotten. In fact, he isn't really as bad as he makes out.  Kai becomes an unfortunate guinea pig in Sophie Fletcher's aim for a cure for Huntington's  Disease after a mix-up at the blood testing centre and is injected with unpatented medication which eventually takes control of his sanity. Such is his anger of betrayal by Sophie, he begins to plot her downfall by framing her niece. However, due to the medication, he mistakes Renee for Sophie and accidentally destroys her life as well. Additionally, he begins to realise his infactuation with Soo Lin and tries to force himself upon her, resulting a showdown with a rather jealous and protective Simon.

N.B.:  The audition of Kai Long will also need to be tested against that of Rui Lin Chen to ascertain the best character relationship between the two.
